"Make a Change" is about the quiet morning you decide you're done living the old way. No thunder, no crowd — just a man standing at the door with his hand on the latch, choosing the harder road because he knows it's the true one.
The tempo sits low and steady, like footsteps on gravel. Richard Dall's baritone carries the weight without leaning on it — warm, plain, sure. This is country-soul with an outlaw's backbone: a song that admits how far a man can fall, then turns and starts the climb anyway.
It lives in the small things. Cold coffee. A light left on. Hands that shook yesterday and hold steady today. The change here isn't loud or clean; it's the decision made in private and kept one day at a time.
A man can lose his place without losing his spine.
This one is for anyone standing at the bottom of their own hill — the ones who've been counted out and are getting up regardless. If you've ever told yourself tomorrow would be different and meant it this time, "Make a Change" was written for you.

Yeah, come on! I was pointing every finger at the world, Blaming everybody else for the hand that I'd been dealt. Then I looked into the mirror at the man, And I finally understood the plan. Wake up. Stand tall. If you wanna see it different, Gotta be the one to change. So make a change, make a change, Start with the man in the frame. You can move the whole wide world If you're brave enough to move yourself today. Make a change, make a change, Don't you wait another day. The light you're looking for Is the light you gotta be, so make a change. You don't need a fortune and you don't need fame, Just a little bit of fire and you fan the flame. Lift somebody up when they fall behind, And the kindness comes right back in time. Small steps. Big heart. You don't gotta fight the world to win, Real strength is the peace you carry deep within. Be the one. Lead the way. The change you wanna see, you make it today. So make a change, make a change, Start with the man in the frame. You can move the whole wide world If you're brave enough to move yourself today. Make a change, make a change, Don't you wait another day. The light you're looking for Is the light you gotta be, so make a change. Make a change. It starts with you.
